Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

As a team we were able to win at home and defend Ford stadium with zero losses. We are also the first team since 1984 to win 10 games. As a defense we led the nation with 51 sacks.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Hardworking, consistent, dedicated, loyal and relentless. Pays attention to the details and does the grimy work.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

Alignment, Job/Technique, Eyes. I also look at formations and tendencies that offenses show.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I put in the time and effort that others aren’t willing to put in. I can create my own schedule and not rely on others to create a structure for me. I have had 5 different position coach’s and 4 different defensive coordinators in my college career which has allowed me to learn new defenses quickly. I have also played in 3 man fronts and 4 man fronts and have been successful in both. I am relentless and give everything I got. I do my job when no one else will and I take on double teams that allow my teammates to make plays. I apply pressure to QBs, disruptive offensive lines, and attack the line of scrimmage shutting down the run.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I make sure I am eating enough protein and carbs before and after training. I do conditioning and DL drills with my brother or coach on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I do sprints/build ups and lift on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If I am unable to access weights I have resistance bands and body weight exercises that I utilize.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m able to adapt and adjust in difficult situations and fill my role as a team player. I am disruptive in the back field, can take on double teams and stop the run. I will do my job no matter what. I love my community and have contributed a large part of my time during my college career doing community service and visiting children’s hospitals and schools. I have never had issues off the field and have no issues with law enforcement.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’m the guy you want when it’s 4th and 1 and we need a stop. I’m the guy that shows up everyday and does the extra work. I’m the first one in the locker room and the last one to leave. I prepare like a champion and do everything with intent.
