Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My biggest goal was to win a championship with my brothers, unfortunately we fell short. Individually I challenged myself to be all conference and all American. I was able to achieve all conference but not all American. Obviously I was disappointed in not reaching those goals but I am satisfied with my inputs and taking control over the aspects that I could control.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a loving brother and teammate. Someone who is grateful for each day, someone who is not selfish and would do anything for the guy next to me. I work hard and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to help the team.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I’ve always said that football is a copycat game in many ways. I’ve always enjoyed watching the film of professionals who I feel like I have some things in common with. I watch a lot of Davante Adams, Keenan Allen and Justin Jefferson. Then I watch my own film and always look for ways that I could improve my game.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects is that I am incredibly versatile. My JUCO head coach always said the best ability is availability and I’ve always taken that to heart. I played almost every special teams spot in my collegiate career. I’ve never shied away from tackling on kickoff coverage, I long snap for both punt and field goal, I can play interchangeably out wide or in the slot and this past season when my team did not have any tight ends I stepped into that role with no issues. Any team that gets me can save roster spots because of my ability to snap, play receiver and hop on any special team. I also play some soccer in my free time and I’ve got about 45 yards of field goal range now after a little practice.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan has always been the same, stay ready so you never have to get ready. I run routes almost daily and I lift weights every morning. I stay in top of my diet and have been practicing some different techniques for mental and spiritual health. I’m currently looking for an agent to represent me and help me navigate future opportunities as well.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Like I mentioned previously, my biggest strength is versatility. Especially with smaller school guys being able to play special teams well is crucial and I have that. Being able to long snap is always something that I’ve valued. Being able to add a receiver to the roster who can also snap very well and cover the kick is something every team should value. Off the field, I am someone that loves being active in the community. My plan is to start doing camps and trainings for the youth in my area to help them tune their skills on the field and get more exposure.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

To all pro scouts, I’m the one you don’t want to miss out on. A hard working, do it all player. Football has always been my life, give me an opportunity to prove myself and you absolutely will not regret it. To everyone that passes me up and misses out, best of luck and watch out.
