What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to improve our record from the year prior, I wanted to go 1st team all conference and all American and I wanted to be a captain, I completed all those.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

The extra year allowed me to transform my body, I lost body fat and replaced it with muscle. I also matured a lot mentally.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They’d describe me as blue collar, just get the task done by any means.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I look for tendencies with certain plays such as if certain stances from different Olinemen indicate what play is coming, or if a particular formation indicates what play is coming. I like to study situational football. Our coaches did a great job of putting together picture pages for us this past season.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I feel as though my intellect and instincts separate me from other prospects, there may be some guys who are bigger, faster, and stronger than me, but none of them can out think me or out work me.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I will be training at Level 40 performance center in King of Prussia, Pa.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m a blue collar guy on and off the field, I attack life with the same intensity I attack football with.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

If you want a talented, hard working, hard nosed, physical linebacker look no further.
