Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Shalom: Dominant Run Stopper.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Shalom: I have a solid training/nutrition/recovery program in Tony Villani’s XPE down here in Boca Raton, FL.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Shalom: When I study film, I look for tendencies in the offensive lineman’s game I’m going against, for example, is he light when pulling? I also look at pass sets, is he a two hand puncher, vertical/horizontal shoulders, jump sets? I accredit my college DL coach Terrance Jamison as he helped me utilize these details to better my game.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

Shalom: Knowledge/understanding of the game. Ability to knock OL in the backfield vs run and pass. Long arms/extension.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Shalom: Difference maker in the trenches, eating up blocks, making plays in the backfield. I’m also a team player, readily coachable, also carry myself being a servant to the community and organization.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Shalom: Drafting me will be taking in a player who will never quit, consistently produce on the field, and show exemplary character off the field.
