Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

John: Fast, physical, relentless.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

John: Currently I am training with a few teammates at Southeast Missouri who have similar goals as me.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

John: I would compare myself to hall of famer Jason Taylor. His play style is similar by the way he tracks the ball downfield. The way he rushes the passer by optimizing his length is also similar to my play style.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

John: When I study film, I look at a box between the tight end and the tackle. That is my world. Control your 1/11 and you will help your team be successful. When going against a tackle, I look at his set and hands to see how to counter his attack.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

John: What separates myself from other players at my position is my explosiveness and ability to do my job.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

John: The kind of abilities I will help a team be successful is a willingness to listen and be coached. On the field, my awareness for the ball will help me be successful in the future.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

John: I am the guy who you can rely on late in the game to finish games out. Your film is your resume. I make the most out of every opportunity given to me.
