Name: Jestin Kelly
College: Grambling State
Position: Running Back / Fullback
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 236

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Jestin: North and South.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Jestin: I’m training for pro day and the draft with Coach Robert Butler at his “Desire Speed” training facility in Ruston, LA.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

Jestin: I’d compare myself to a Jerome Bettis, with a bit more athleticism. During his career, He played a role similar to a role I would play on a team, but I think I have just a little more wiggle than the bus.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Jestin: When I study film, I like to develop an individual feel for all 11 guys on the opposite side starting with the linebackers. I want I to see there tendencies, strengths, and weaknesses. Basically, who’s a baller who’s not, who’s flying off the ball every play and who’s not. What linebackers filling the gap like crazy? What DB is scared to tackle? Who am I going to be blocking all day? Etc.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

Jestin: Running Back/Fullback is a 3 layered job these days, some can block and run some can catch and run, some can just block. I can do all 3.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Jestin: The ability to learn fast and be able to adjust to change both on and off the field, being able to produce for the program and community in a positive way.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Jestin: My final pitch would be that I’m going to be another great person, athlete, and teammate added to their program that loves and has passion for what he does and that they’d love to be around.
