Name: David Rivers III
College: Youngstown State
Position: Defensive Back
Height: 6’1″
Weight: 188

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

David: Feisty, Consistent, Confidence.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

David: Continuing my work out regime from the training facility I attended out in Indianapolis. Then staying fresh with my position drills, from my position coach Marlon Jackson.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

David: Huge fan of the “Cro” from the Chargers. Tall corner with long arms. Played with swag and aggression. Really fast and crazy ball skills. That’s who I’d compare myself with.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

David: Check the QB out, see if his arm is strong and can he make hard throws. Then, I like to look at how physical a WR is when they are not getting the ball. I look for hand signals between QBs & WRs, how high a WR is in and out of breaks, how they handle press vs off technique, and any tendencies an offense has based on the down and distance.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

David: Work Ethic. My passion. My hunger, but humble mentality. My height and long arms. My willingness to contribute no matter where you put me. My desire to compete and go 110% every trip.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

David: Off the field respectable, humble, and genuine person. No off field issues. On the field “you are going to get a dawg, that’s ready wherever you need em”

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

David: Looking for somebody that’s gonna put in work non stop and be consistent, then I’m your guy. Now Lets get this show on the road.
