Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Cooper: When I look at film, I first study a team’s normal down and distance tendencies. For example, what their favorite fronts, blitzes, and coverages happen to be. I do the same thing for third down and redzone situations. Then, I look at personnel and where our best matchups would be.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

Cooper: I am a very smart player. I played in a pro style system in all four years I started. This will help the transition to a NFL style offense. Cooper: On the field I bring toughness, leadership, command, and play making ability to a team. Off the field I am reliable, determined, and accountable which are things every Quarterback needs to have.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Cooper: I am a very fast learner and I believe I will make a smooth transition to the next level mentally. My experience starting four years in a pro style offense is something that has prepared me well. I was a two-year captain and have leadership qualities that can help a team in many ways. I have the ability to hang in the pocket and make plays. I am a guy that will come to work everyday wanting to get better and help the team.
