Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set for my final was to finish with no injuries, start, be a leader on my team and prove everyone wrong about my style of play which I particularly did but I have a lot more work to do. I am considered as a blocking TE but I know how to get open and I’m always open and I personally feel like that side of my skill set is under appreciated, but I got a chance to show a glimpse of what I can do during the season and at the HBCU Legacy bowl so I’m just going to take advantage of my opportunities and be ready when my name is called. I also want to be showcase more on the Longsnapper side of things because I got all conference in that and in the NFL I want to be able to Long Snap and Play Tight End.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would describe me as a hard worker, a leader, and a selfless player on and off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Well first off when studying film before I watch myself I watch my opponent. That just makes my job a lot more easy because I know what is coming and while I’m watching film on myself I know what to correct with myself based of what I know about my opponent. But generally I look out for my footwork, alignment, aiming points, my triangle, and my technique blocking and in my routes.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is I out work people and I’m real with myself. I could admit someone is better than me right now. But it won’t stay that way. Given the same resources as other people I feel like I can be the best tight End in the NFL. I just need an opportunity, and right now all of the funds I have is going back into my prep. I’m just a person who works hard to be the best and I already have natural gift so I feel like when everything comes together I’m going to be great. I have a lot of room for growth and I’m going to get there. With Me long snapping and playing tight end.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m working 6 days a week in speed training, route training and working to get my bench up for pro day. Thanks to Jimmy’s Sea Foods partnership with me I’m able to have a great meal plan and I’m working as a mental health worker at Sheppard Pratt, so I’m fully invested into my future in the NFL and I’m only going to get better.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths I could bring to a team first is my confidence and my work ethic. I feel like your confidence is the most important thing as a athlete and I have actively worked on that internally. But things I would bring to a team is my ability to run routes, block, Long snap, and Short Snap and My understanding for the game. Off the field I do community work, if it’s possible I would also be willing to create content for the organization on my free time because that’s my passion outside of football. And how good of a teammate I am.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch is that if you draft or sign me you are going to get a hard worker, who pays attention to detail. I love to get better, receive coaching, and improve which is one of my goals every for myself on and off the field. I’m just ready to work towards earning a starting job and helping a team win games.
