Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals set going into my final season were to get back to the SWAC championship and also to come back from my ACL injury fully healed, so that I can be able to compete at the highest level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I feel they would say I am a hard worker. Not too much of the vocal leader unless the time presents itself, but I do bring the energy when the environment is lukewarm. They would say WEBB took advantage of any opportunities given and made the best of the situation. Always motivational to the offensive and defensive teammates so that we can get the best out of the team.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on assignment, alignment, and execution. I ask myself am I getting to the ball fast enough. I watch my body language in between plays so that my posture and everything looks the same so that I’m hard to read to the opposing team. I watch my opponents tendencies to get ahead and figure out any keys to put me ahead and help myself play faster.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I feel that my history of playing offense helps me out alot playing defense now because I have understood the objective of the offense by playing quarterback. Linebacker is a similar job because you have to know what’s going on in front and behind you, so I take pride in watching film, understanding what the offense is trying to accomplish and preparing myself and teammates on keys to put ourselves in position to win. I literally put myself back in the offensive mindset when watching film on my opponents and trying to understand their mindsets and the why’s.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Right now I am in the process of looking for a certified agent that will work for my best interest and put me in position to get a opportunity to gain a pro contract, but if that does not work out, I will train with my strength coaches and with whoever I can to get my test numbers the best they can be before pro day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I can bring strengths on and off the field such as being accountable, dependable, and hard worker. I feel that I can come right in and learn the playbook and fight to be on the 53 man roster as a second string and special team player. I feel I have the ability to come and help any organization even though I will be a rookie. I am coming to play.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

To the NFL and all other professional leagues, It will be an honor to be selected for a tryout or whatever opportunity presents itself I will stay ready whenever I receive a phone call. I have worked hard to get to this point in my career to put myself in position to shoot my best shot at playing professional football. I feel I have a lot more ball to play and that I have been in college long enough and feel that I can come right in and help any organization whether it’s special teams or practice player. I’m used to working, so I would not mind working my way up in any setting. Grateful for any opportunity.
