Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

Got an internship and was able to stay and have access to all of the facilities on campus. All summer I was able to get extra work in as well as workout with teammates. Definitely showed a huge difference from this season to last and has made me more athletic and stronger.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I am a hardworking person who focuses on the small details.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Footwork, hand placement, and striking. Normally if you’re successful in these areas, then the block will be as well.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My athleticism for my weight. Most people who watch me move say I do not look like I am 300 lbs.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Still in the process of figuring it out. Right now I am looking to get an agent.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Physicality and knowledge of the game. I spent a lot of time studying game film and practice film in the last 5 years. It’s an important aspect of football that I feel can be overlooked.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I have the ability to play any position. I have film at both tackles and both guard positions as well as practice film at center. My athleticism and ability to play all positions of the offensive line combined with my football IQ will make me a successful player.
