Position: LB

Height: 6’1”

What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I few goals I set had nothing to do with getting All-American my goal this year was to leave a better impression of my game and ability in the Gulf South Conference. I did achieve All-American, All-conference, and Defensive player of the year. So, I had a very good year!

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I think I took that time to tone my body, get stronger, and faster. Also got a chance to bring some of our younger guys along as well. So, just having that time to focus on being a better leader and a better athlete to prepare for the next level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my teammates/coaches would say I’m a jack of all trades. I can do it all from rushing the passer, inside blitz’s, and covering running backs out of the back field. They would say I’m very passionate about the game. They say I am an unselfish player and love setting up my teammates to make plays.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I like to look at tendencies. My defensive coordinator did a great job breaking down film on guys and It really taught me how to watch film and not just looking through plays.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is that I can be a dominant factor wherever you put me! Either that be on the line of scrimmage or lined up in the middle of the defense.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off season plan is continue to get better everyday! Keep my body in great shape and prepare to run fast at pro-day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring to a versatility to the Linebacker position and work my way up to becoming a leader in the program and going from there. I think that my leadership off the field would be a great strength too. I would definitely get my teammates involved in the community if they aren’t already.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

When you have a guy like me who have been where I have been the only way is up! I have been resilient and I am determined to be great not only in the game of football but life. Like any one else I’ve made mistakes. I’ve grown from that and achieve more then I would have thought. An opportunity like this doesn’t come around often so I’ll make sure I make the best of it.
