Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goals for my final collegiate season was to lead the team in sacks, lead my team to a 3rd consecutive NCAA playoff appearance and to win the CAA Championship. I only accomplished one of my goals, however I left my team with great mindsets that will eventually attain those failed goals in years to come.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I am a relentless competitor that gives his all in games and practices. They would also add that I have a nonstop motor that is infectious to the people I play with.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film, I break offenses down by focusing on different running schemes, passing sets and QB tendencies. I focus on running schemes by studying each type of run plays and studying the tendencies in the run game. I look at the O-line thoroughly, determining whether my opponent has a passive set or aggressive set. I also look at little things among the O-line to give myself a competitive edge, like a lineman sitting lighter in his stance to be quicker out of his stance for a passing set. Lastly, I look at the QB’s tendencies and decision making. I look for whether he likes staying in the pocket, if he likes to extend plays with his foot or even which way he likes to escape out of the pocket when he’s under pressure.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects is my love for the game, my athleticism, my work ethic, my constant motor, my “see ball get ball” mentality and my football IQ.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is to train with Proehlific Park in Greensboro, NC. While finishing my last semester of college with a degree in sport management.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

What I bring to a team is my ability to connect and create bonds with anyone I share the gridiron with. I believe the more you connect with someone on and off the field, the better you will play together, which leads to better performance overall on the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I am the guy you want for your football team because I give consistent effort, I am a relentless competitor and I am a team player. I am a positive role model that will represent the team while relating to the community. Ultimately, I will do whatever it takes to help uplift the football organization into a positive winning culture.
