What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal for this final season was to lead my team as far as I possibly could, continue to develop strong relationships with my teammates and coaches, and be an all conference/ all American at whatever position I played. I ended accomplishing everything I set out for myself.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

This extra year of eligibility allowed me to continue my academic success and get my masters degree. I was able to develop more relationships in the community, and i was able to get stronger, faster, and more explosive in the weight room and on the field.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I am consistent and a hard worker when it comes to whatever I do. They would say I do a great job of leading and developing the relationships that are important in this sport.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I typically tend to focus on different things depending on the film. Every time a player steps on the field, there can always be something to improve. It’s important for me to focus on one that at a time so I can try to build that up, rather than focusing on multiple things not getting much better at any of them.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I have a great football IQ, I am athletic, and I can play multiple spots on the line. I would also say my leadership skills set me apart from others as well.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I will be training at Garza strength in San Diego up until my pro day. I will be doing everything necessary to prepare for that. I will also be working on snapping so I can continue to add to my positive flexibility.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring my strong leadership skills which will help me elevate any team I have the opportunity to work with. My willingness to work and outwork others is something that I will also bring to the table whether it’s on or off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am a strong, athletic, smart, and versatile offensive linemen who can come into any team or scheme and make an impact. I will be a great addition in any locker room and will not have any problems assimilating into any culture. I got to this point by working my butt off and making sacrifices and that is something that will never change.
