What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Goals that I set for myself were to be an all conference offensive lineman, which I achieved. As a captain of the team, I wanted to be a player to be a leader for the underclassman and show them what it takes to be a great player on and off the field.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I took advantage of the extra year by hitting the weight room extra hard. At least 5 days a week working out with my teammates at the school and working with my trainer. With this extra year it allowed me to showcase myself as a force to be reckoned with.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I have a great passion for the sport and a great leader. My work ethic is beyond great to make not only myself better but my teammates as well.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I concentrate on the techniques of the defensive lineman I go against and tendencies. Whether they are a power rusher or speed rusher, I look for there weaknesses and use that to my advantage.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other pro prospects is that I will never stop perfecting my craft and will always strive for the best. I have an endless motor and can go full speed at all times.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off season plan is to continue to train with my trainer at Strive Sports Performance.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths that will stand out with me is that I am able to retain information regarding playbook and opponent film very well. Always willing to do what’s best for the team on and off the field. My footwork and speed off the ball will standout as a player who always works on the little things to make the big things happen.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I’ll give you everything I got at all times on and off the field. I am a hard noises player and play with a lot of heart. I am in it to win it and will help my teammates be on the same level or above on intensity of the game.
