Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Making the most out of every play and putting good things on film.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I’m a leader. Not a vocal leader but the type of leader that leads by example. I bring a lot of energy to a defense through making big plays. This motivates and influences my teammates to do the same.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When watching myself on film I try to focus on my steps and the angles I take to the ball. It’s important to have no wasted movements on the field. It is also important to take great angles to the football. When studying my opponents, I try to pick up on their tendencies. I look for any obvious indicators that will allow me to anticipate what play should be coming. This allows me to play at top speed without having to think.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My ability to make big plays separates me from other players at my position. Some players are good at doing their job but do not have much production. I have the ability to make plays that can’t be coached and change the dynamics of a game.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Continue to work on my speed and agility. The game has changed and I think scouts are looking for guys that can move laterally just as good as they can move vertically.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The type of strengths and abilities I would bring to a team to stand out would be my leadership in my work ethic and performance. I’m a very team oriented guy and I always put the team before myself. Off the field I will represent the organization in the highest of my ability because I take the way people perceive me seriously. I would never do anything to tarnish my reputation or the organization that I’m acquainted with.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

If an organization wants a guy that is hungry, contact me. I could be a great asset to any team at any LB position. I have good size, speed and knowledge of the game.
