Kierre Rhodes: 2020 Pro Prospect Interview

Name: Kierre Rhodes
School: UW-Stout
Position: CB
Height: 5’9″
Weight: 185

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I set a couple goals, one of my goals was to make my presence known to each team I faced that I was the most physical guy on the field and the most competitive athlete. I accomplished my goal of making over 60 tackles my senior year as a corner. Defending the ball is what I’m supposed to know how to do and locking the receiver up, but I belive coaches wanna see how physical you are and if you got the heart to stick you’re noes in the box which I showed.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe they would say I am a work horse, a guy who always strives for better and a player who always wants to make a play no matter the situation.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film on my self I like to really critique my technique, technique is everything! I belive technique will always beat natural talent so for me it’s how I’m positioned, how I’m aligned, my footwork, how I’m shooting my hands, how im scanning the body of the target all the little different details I can find so I can improve my game.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Were all big, fast and strong but one thing I have more that I believe that you can’t teach is heart, the will and determination to be better than the next man and to win a championship!

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I train in Minnesota currently with Tyler Yearby and Rich White, Tyler is one of the founders of Emergence (http://Emergentmvmt.com) The facility we train at is Starters Sports Training Athletics in Shakopee, Minnesota. Right now we are training for my pro day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I believe one of my strengths is being able to adapt to whatever situation you put me in, whatever the coach needs me to do Imma do it. Another one of my strengths is bringing that energy and having a high motor. I play with a lot of passion, I bring that mentality with me every down and and every practice.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

To the NFL and all other pro leagues if you want a wild stallion DRAFT ME, if you want a guy with heart you can’t measure DRAFT ME, if you want a player with morals, and integrity DRAFT ME, if you want that guy who will bring that energy day in and day out DRAFT ME, and lastly if you want that player thats willing to die on that field for his brothers and coaches DRAFT ME, KIERRE RHODES!
