What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal was to contribute in a big way to help my team win our conference, and to finish my college career with a ring.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

This year I really just wanted to make plays and standout. I believe I did a good job on doin that this year while displaying my explosiveness and motor.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I’m a hard worker, accountable, and a great player who’s always looking to get better.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film I mainly watch both tackles in the pass and the run. In the run I look at how quick they are off their stance and if they drive their feet after the initial contact. I also like to see where their hands are, and if the like to grab the shoulder pads and pull them inwards while blocking. As far as pass blocking I start off with the tackles hands to see if he’s a wide grabber, a under hooker, or if they shoot their hands straight out. Then I check how patient he is and if he likes to swipe the rusher’s hands. When it comes to the blocker’s feet I look for how well he handles change of direction, and how fast he kicks to see if there is potential for inside counters. Lastly for the inside counter moves I check how aware the guard is and the direction the O-line slides to.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The thing that separates me from other prospects is my bend and my explosion. Just like my explosion my bend can be very sudden, one moment I’m running straight up the field and the next I’m getting around the corner to make the play. My explosion and get off makes it very difficult to react to my next move. Not only that, my athleticism that I use in my pass rush moves opens up potential for pass coverage.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

As of right now I’m training at TEST Football academy to refine my attributes. While there I’ve been improving on my pass coverage to make myself more versatile as a player.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My drive and my motor is what stands out, if I have to I’ll run through wall to get to where I wanna be. I’m always ready to learn and to become better than I was yesterday. My desire isn’t just to make the team, but to also make an everlasting impact on whatever team that gives me the opportunity.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Everyday I try my best and work hard because I have something to prove. I’m a powerful player who’s ready to make plays in whatever role you put me in. Size is something that I rarely worry about or consider because of my abilities. From my past experiences taking a chance on me is something that no one has ever regretted, and I don’t see any reason in why that would change if you were to do the same.
