Name: Kenton Bartlett
School: Portland State
Position: DL
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 270

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal for this season was to focus on all the little details of the game. Studying more film and player tendencies in order to be more successful on the field.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Physical player with a high football IQ and willing to help the team in any way possible.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

There is always room to improve on film study but I tend to focus on the tendencies of the offense. Mostly, I look at the offensive line and running backs to see how they align. Lots of the time I can figure out where the ball is planning on going based off of alignment.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe I’m very versatile and can play every position on the defensive line. I also have a high football IQ which creates an advantage against my opponents. I have a high motor and love the game of football.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan has been interesting due to the pandemic. My pro day was cancelled about a month ago so I’ve been just training and staying in shape. The biggest thing I’ve been focusing on is my speed because the NFL is a faster game.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring passion and lead by an example. I have a strong work ethic that carries on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?

I’m a dawg. I’ll come in everyday to work and do whatever is asked of me. I truly love the game of football and I’ll represent any organization to the best of my abilities. Thank you for taking the time to interview me.
