Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Some of my goals going into my final season were to get my name out there to scouts and to have an major impact on my team in every area I can. I wanted to be seen on film as person who can shut down one half of the field and make my teammates’ job easier.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Three words that describe my style of play is: Playmaking, Smart, Dependable.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

This offseason I trained at my school with our staff but also took the further step to better myself by driving home each weekend to work on my speed and defensive drills.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

While studying film, I like to look at tendencies of the other players and even coaches when it comes to formations and the down and distance. On Tuesday, I watch 1st and 2nd down offensive and try and see what they want to run. On Wednesdays, I focus on third down and Red-zone, and Thursdays, I like to go back over everything and see if I can pick anything new up.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

The thing that separates me from others is my knowledge of the game and how to study the game and film to make it easier for myself. I believe my instincts helped as well, separating myself from other players at my position. I have all the tools to be successful at my position.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Abilities that I will bring to a team off the field is my leadership and communication skills. The ability to bring teammates together to achieve all our goals. On the field, I am able to bring leadership, speed, technique, power, explosiveness, and the ability to play and be versatile to fit a team’s needs.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

You would be investing into a great player, a leader and strong minded individual who puts God first. I have been knocked down over and over and risen each time and have come back stronger and faster. I would never quit, will bring a charisma and spark to a team, and will be able to help others around me. I am energetic, I am a playmaker, I am a true football player who has no off the field issues, and who takes advantages of all the opportunities that are in front of me.
