What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One of the biggest goals I accomplished was being a conference champion, as well as developing my game to be more effective in the pass rush game.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

This extra year allowed me to work on my craft more in detail. I was able to refine my game and be more dynamic. The covid year also allowed me to work on my overall core and flexibility, which helped me a lot.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates will say I’m relentless and bring energy to the defense. They would say I’m a guy you can rely on to do his job and make big plays when needed most.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film I like to focus on the feet and hands of the offensive linemen. I focus a lot on formations to pick up on tendencies. I also like to watch the QB to see how he likes to maneuver in the pocket during a rush.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects is my leverage I play with, I am able to anchor down in the trenches and create knock back that resets the line of scrimmage. Also I am able to provide great pass rush and collapse the pocket from the middle, stopping the QB from stepping up in the pocket.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I will be training with Bill Welle at Training Haus in the Twin City’s. I will be focusing on combine specific drills as well as position specific drills.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring energy to my position group as well as the ability to take teaching points and apply then to different techniques. Off the field they will be getting a guy that will engage with the community and give back as much as possible.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Any team that takes a chance on me will be getting a guy that will come ready to work everyday. I’ll bring a positive learning attitude as well as a competitive edge that will push me and my teammates to our highest potential. I’ll be willing to help the team in anyway to pursue our goal of being champions.
