What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

As I started my career in JuCo you can definitely say that my goals are different than those that started at a 4 year school. As I progressed I wanted to be a 1st team conference player in JuCo and achieved being MVP of the league(CCCAA). Wanted to achieve getting a D1 Scholarship as well. At the D1 level my personal achievements weren’t so important to me, but more team goals. As many of them weren’t reached, I continued to strive as a receiver my biggest goals was to be consistent in practice and games. Talking stats wanted to be same or better numbers each year.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

Learned and developed the game of football more, took all that I could in from new coaching staff and worked my butt off to get a great shot at what will come next.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Dedicated Blue-collar worker, is the first that comes to mind. Pick up on learning new techniques fast and it comes from studying the game. Hard worker as I put my helmet on and go hard no matter the day or circumstances that I am in, love the game and love adversity, trials and tribulations, and the celebration of success with a great group of guys.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

As I watch opponent film, figuring out starters is key of course. Once that is figured out there are a few things I look for: stamina, techniques, zone or man guy, team scheme with backers and fronts. As I go through these I can develop what I am going against where which routes can be more deadly and if deep threat or gaps in the defense will be a better game. For personal film study I check out: if I’m giving away routes, do I switch up my releases on certain routes, am I weaker or less aggressive on certain routes, lastly check where I made mistakes on reading the defense.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Acceleration to hip dropping on route technique is something I always pride on. The other thing I think that separates myself is yards after catch ability. As many people can catch the ball but staying on there feet and shedding tackles can be difficult or not an emphasis on their game, but more of a possession receiver. Another is going and grabbing that ball with strong hands as many people body catch or let the ball come down out of the air, I strive to high point or catch hands first.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Plan to continue my training process with SAMPFITNESS in Colorado. Along with that looking to get an opportunity to get private invites to team tryouts. Whether that be getting my abilities seen by NFL position specialists in different states or whatever I need to do to get right for the opportunities that are ahead.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Energetic yet soft tone player, not huge hoorah guy but comes in gets the job done, definitely a big advocate for my teammates and encouraging and supporting them, will go out my way to help or improve my game or work ethic at that matter as well. Not a huge head case, stays smart, and keeps motor running on good clean environment.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

As you evaluate my film and numbers, you want a guy great off and on the field, dedicated to his craft and team. Always looking to get better and figure out a way to become not just a great but a legend. a Player who loves to be apart of something bigger than himself and always wants to better the man next to him an his community. Looking at someone you might want to get in contact with right here. GOD first Bless Up!
