Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Heading into the season, I was up for Pre-Season All-American after having a great Junior season that I believe caught a lot of peoples attention. Unfortunately my season was cut short due to injury, so I didn’t participate as much in my senior year.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coach would say that I’m resilient. I stay true to the task that is before me, even if things aren’t going my way. I believe they would say I played fast and hard and that I have a high natural instinct for the game.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I watch film as often as I can outside of school. I believe I have to be my biggest critic in order to get better. One thing that I notice I can improve on, is the use of my hands. That’s something I believe you can always improve.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Something that separates me from most players is my mentality. When I’m on the field, it’s relentless attitude, everlasting will to win, and to dominate the person across from me every play. I think of myself as a hitman. Athletically, my ability to move sideline to sideline, along with my speed and ability to stuff a gap, are all ways I believe I stand out.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

As I prepare while I’m running, lifting, or whatever drill I’m doing, I want to mentally remember why I do it. What all I sacrificed to get here and why God blessed me with the ability to play this game. I will be working out and training with the direction of my strength and conditioning coaches at UWF every day leading up to that time, to ensure I’m in the best possible shape in my life when presented the opportunity to showcase my talent.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, I can bring an extreme passion to win and dominate, along with sideline to sideline speed and physicality. Off the field, I’m the best friend to my brothers and a well mannered individual in the public.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My pitch would be that if presented the opportunity, I’ll exceed expectations through hard work, passion, and game play.
