Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to be 1st team all conference after getting nothing last year. I accomplished that and more also receiving all region and all american honors this year. As a team we wanted to win conference. We came up short of that tying for 2nd, however we did win two more games than we did last year so hopefully the boys can keep building off of that.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a leader on and off the field and that I am a highly intelligent football player that leaves everything on the field every single game.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am watching myself I first watch my feet to make sure my technique is sound and that I am not wasting any steps. Then I watch to make sure my eyes are in the right spot and that I am reacting correctly to what I am reading. I always want to recognize plays faster and try to find ways to do that. When I watch our opponents I watch my keys and think about how I would react to every play. I am also always looking for anything that might give away what our opponent is going to run.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Film study and special teams play. I am a film junkie, I love to watch film and I hope to coach football someday. I have spent time on every special teams unit except PAT and I take pride in doing my job on special teams.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to continue to focus on getting stronger, faster, and more explosive every day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Intelligence and versatility. I was a high school quarterback which has really helped me on defense because I am always thinking about what I would be thinking if I was the opposing quarterback and how I can use that to my advantage. Along with safety I have played outside linebacker, nickel, slot, wildcat QB, and returned kicks in my time at St. Norbert. I can play all over the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I would come in and put the work in on the field, in the weight room, and in film study. I can play multiple different positions and be a huge factor on special teams.
