Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal for my final collegiate season was to be apart of a team. It sounds weird but I made this goal after my freshman year and I was cut from ODU football team because of Title 9 issues and there wasn’t a roster spot for me so I wasn’t on a team for two years and I had to stay strong and focus on what I wanted. It was my goal to basically get back on a team before my clock ran out. I was trying to stay in state and I offered a spot on UVA and Virginia Tech but I couldn’t get in academically. When I was ready to give up I was hit up by the Louisville coaching staff. They gave me an opportunity to get back on the field and I’m am forever grateful to them for that.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I would say that they I’m a great teammate. I’m a brother and I fit like glove with any team. I will definitely play my part on the team even if it’s a very minor role.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I more so focus on the minor details. It is something that is the key to becoming the best player. The way you step when trying to block can change whether or not you make that block and or you are able to come of to block your second man on the next level. Also being able to take coaching and visually see what I need to do to get better is what helps me a lot. Having someone else to review the film allows me to get a second opinion on what I can fix and if there’s something I could be missing.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe what separates me is drive and will power. I believe that I am mentally able to deal with certain things and push through a lot of situation. I also believe that I am mature enough to handle myself accordingly and stay out of issues off the field.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am doing pre combine/pro day training at True AP as I get ready for my pro day. Also I am changing my diet so that I can be in the best shape possible.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I believe I will bring to any team a person who will get along with his teammates. I believe bring a certain energy that is contagious and very infectious. I’m very competitive and will continue to push through even when things and or situations seem to be bleak.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

You want to have me on your team because I’m going to help grow your organization and better the franchise. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win and play my role in that winning process.
