Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to build a culture for my younger teammates and also become a better leader. I wanted to make personal strides as an all around player as well but I wanted to set the example for them so they can be be even better than I was.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I’m a hard worker, I’m very competitive, and I love the game of football whether it’s studying film, going to meetings, or just going to practice everyday I genuinely love the process that it takes to become a great football player.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I watch my technique in all my good or bad plays so I can see how I can get even better. Even if it is a good play and if it’s a bad play I want to continue progressing towards being the player I know I can be.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I am extremely versatile. In my college career I’ve played every position in the back seven whether as a Linebacker or a Defensive Back and I’ve made big plays at every position. I take pride in being a multi-faceted player that can help my team in anyway possible.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Work with my trainers out in Florida to work on my technique for all of the combine drills while also working on my technique on the football field as well. I will also be cross-training in martial arts to condition my body to an even better level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My versatility, my competitiveness, and my leadership. I want to be able to help the team by fitting at whatever position I’m needed at so there’s no drop off at all. My competitiveness stands out on and off the field because I hate to lose and competition only makes people stronger. My leadership stands out on and off because I always help others feel comfortable and I never try to take anyone’s shine I’d rather the team get credit before myself and I take the blame myself as a leader instead of pointing fingers.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m a hard worker who loves football and I will do anything to help my team whether it’s playing special teams or any position on defense. I also love football so there’s no doubt that I’m going to show up to work everyday and be the best man and football player I can be for God, myself, my family, and my team.
