Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Some of my goals heading into the season for my last year were to be an All-MAC player in my new position at Linebacker, lead my team in tackles, be a team captain, and just put myself in a position to have a chance to play in the NFL.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
If I could describe my play in 3 words, it would be versatile, physical, and playing fast.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will be training in Cincinnati at “Ignition” getting trained by the man himself, Ben Creamer.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When I look at film, I focus on tendencies from the other team that will help be succeed that week. Also, I look at Offensive Line reads and rout combos.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me from other players is my versatility to play anywhere on the field. I can play ay of the Safety spots as well as Linebacker. Playing Safety in the box or deep and can also guard the slots. Just being very passionate about the game and the way I run to the ball every play will separate me as well.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths and abilities I can bring to a NFL team on and off the field is my versatility and great tackling skills. I feel with great size at 6’0″ 215lbs, I can play anywhere on the field. Then also, my ability to always be around the football is great as well. Off the field, I am a great leader, was a captain for my team, and am very energetic.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final pitch for NFL teams is first, you will get someone who is a leader and very passionate about the game. A player that is physical, fast, and versatile. My film speaks for itself. My 353 tackles in my career lets you know that I am always around the ball.
