Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I had several goals this year. The main goal I wanted to accomplish was being a leader to my teammates, and helping them be better players for the future. This is becasue the legacy of the program can continue as the others did to me, and helped me further my play. Another goal was to win the national championship again, because that was a feeling that I wanted to re live once again while bringing the guys who didn’t get to experience.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe they say I’m a hard worker nonetheless, a leader and became a good man throughout the process. Being in a winning system I know what a winning environment is and I won’t settle for less.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The most important things I try to fix the most would be eyes , alignment and if I’m running my feet on tackles. Another thing I key in on is tendencies. Knowing what a team is going to do before they even run their play, knowing how certain guys line up in formations leads me to narrow down what play I could see about to happen . I also pay attention to other positions around me to ensure I know the whole defenses job, and not just my own. Knowing your scheme and defense will help you be a better player knowing where your help is.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I do what’s asked of me and never complain. Man coverage, In the box, Blitzing, On the line as OLB in bear fronts. I’m a versatile player and I take pride in that. I never had a coach have problems with me being coachable.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I have the best coaches college can offer. I follow the plans they give me to become a faster, stronger, and smarter athlete to prepare for what my next journey brings. From speed work to agility work to position drills and strength training . This while also on a heavy protein diet to become a more lean athlete.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Playing in space is uncomfortable for some but one of my strengths is being able to play in space and be versatile on where I could line up. I could line up at a d end position and rush the passer or could be in coverage on the perimeter in man coverage .Also , I’ll bring the intensity on whatever down and whatever quarter and Helping other guys out that understand the system out of practice.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You’re getting a diamond in the rough. Anything asked will be done correctly, from all aspects on and off the field. Someone who knows how to work and grind for what the receive and not expecting a handout from anyone. I’ve been a dog going 100% since I was young and that will Never leave my soul.
