Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A couple goals I had set for my final season were to break the Slippery Rock scoring record and the PSAC scoring record for a kicker. I was fortunate enough to break both of those records due to our offense being so dominant each and every week.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I feel a lot of my teammates and coaches think I’m not your “typical” kicker. I didn’t want to be that kicker that was viewed as an outsider. I feel they saw me as a guy who was passionate and wanted to do all I could to help the team every week.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

For a kicker, watching film was all about watching my mechanics and making sure everything was clean and fluent with every kick.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I feel what separates me is possibly my experience. I started 50 games while at Slippery Rock and scored 390 points. Also, I’m a left footed kicker which isn’t seen too much.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Some of those details are still being ironed out as to where I’ll be training and preparing. For now though, I’m staying in shape and will be ready once I begin going to train with whom ever it may be.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

In high school, I was a captain senior year. While at Slippery Rock, I was selected to the Leadership Committee which was to help communicate things between players and coaches to make sure nobody was slacking or being hurtful to the team’s success. I feel one of my strengths is, even though I’m a kicker I can bring a leadership role. I actually obtained a Leadership minor while in school. Also, I love to give back any way I can to the Slippery Rock community whether it was at the elementary school for Read Across America or in my hometown Plum, donating to the Plum Make-A-Wish Telethon (Plum School District has donated more money to Make-A-Wish than any other school in the world).

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

Don’t overlook me just because I’m a Division 2 guy. I could have went Division 1, but Slippery Rock had what I was looking for. It felt like home there.
