A couple goals i had while coming back were- Making all conference, winning a conference championship, making the national playoffs, and being an all-american. I was an all conference player. We did indeed win a conference championship. We didn’t make the playoffs due to a head-to-head tiebreaker with Carnegie Mellon. I did not make the cut for an athletic all american, but I made the second team all-american team for coSIDA.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I got stronger. I gained way more experience. Playing some good competition. These many talented teams include: Carnegie Mellon, W&J, Mount Union, Case Western, etc. I came back to prove myself.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I am a hard worker. Being a champion just doesn’t happen overnight. I grind, I work, I don’t give up.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

A couple things that I focus on are: my technique, my first step, my hand placement, and if I’m low enough. All of those are keys to being successful while on the offensive line.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I consider myself versatile. I’m quick off the ball and I rarely get beat in pass sets. I also consider myself as a selfless leader that wants to see the team succeed.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan on working with a professional trainer who has developed players into successful pro athletes.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My attitude, my work ethic, my courage, my strength, my love for the game, and being successful doesn’t come without a price.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am a diamond in the rough. I work hard and i don’t give up until I succeed. In my career, I’ve only let up two sacks as a 4 year starter, and I graded out as a 93%. I’m not the biggest guy, but my heart and strength are too much to overcome.
