Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Going into my senior season, I set out to accomplish some personal goals of mine that I’d had on my mind since the offseason. I was able to set the record for the 225lbs bench test in our summer camp with 34 reps. In addition I was able to play a key role in our offensive system by contributing with over 100 yards receiving, and three touchdowns. Coming from high school where I was a third string offensive guard, it was nice to finally have a sense of belonging on a team and being able to contribute to something bigger than myself with a team that had a common goal in mind.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

I think that they would say I’m a hard worker that is willing to do anything to help the team, as my sophomore year of college I went from tight end down to offensive line due to a shortage of players. After that year, I gave everything I had in the off-season to shed the added on weight, work on my footwork, and hands to get back to where I was so that I could be a valuable piece of the offense in my final two years.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

The first thing I look for, is my position off the line to see if I’m indicating where I’m going based off my stance and my lean. In addition, I watch my moves off the line and follow by repping out different creative moves and cuts off the line in order to create more separation.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I think my size and strength is unique to my position, while others at my spot are generally smaller when dealing with the receiver position, I can leap and maintain possession of the ball in any situation whether it be down field or catching in traffic.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Since the season ended, my workout regiment has remained constant and increased in some areas regarding foot work development and my route running.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will be bringing an unrelenting work effort along with my substantial strength that I will hope to continue to improve on throughout the offseason. Aside from on the field ability, my off the field desire to improve and to be a good teammate are commensurate with one another. I strive to make everyone else around me better and come together over a common goal and bring home championships.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My entire football career I have been overlooked. I have always been labeled too small, not fast enough, or just didn’t have the athleticism. All of my doubters have continued to fuel my fire to become the most dominant player that I can possibly become. My senior season although only a glimpse at what I can do, was hopefully enough to attract the attention of some professional organizations that would be willing to take a chance on me and allow me to continue to prove all of my doubters wrong and contribute to a franchise in every way that I can.
