Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

My main goal was to leave my school with a winning season, which was accomplished by winning more than 5 games. Another was making all conference and I did by making second team RB in the KCAC.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches would say that I am a player that has a switch. I can be that leader who doesn’t say anything, but on the field I will show my teammates that I am here to battle with them through every second of adversity.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying film, I notice how each player plays and what their strengths and weaknesses are. I section the defense in levels. Taking the D-line first, studying each one’s best and favorite moves. Then on to each LB, will he come up and make a tackle or is he the LB that sits and waits for his play. Then the DB group, I see who’s the weakest because if all fails, I know he is a target. Then the rest will fall in line.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My IQ for the game. I’ve sat with other RBs and the things I focus on are far past what they focus on. My mentality and drive to win drives me more. Me being a team player keeps everything running smooth.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Everyday twice a day. This is my last opportunity to do the thing I love most. When it hurts, it won’t hurt for long. I will keep doing more and more to get where I need to be.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Well on the field, I am a versatile player. I can be in the backfield at RB then can be shift out to any WR spot. Playing WR helped me easily catch screens and swing passes out the backfield as a RB. I can play any special teams at any position except kicker, but if we needed one, I would try no doubt. Whatever position a coach wants me to play, I’ll give it my all to make sure he doesn’t doubt himself about me.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I am a player with nothing to lose. Shots and opportunities is all I ever had in my life and each one I took a shot at was a knock down because If I shoot, it’s going to be my all. All I need is that chance and opportunity coach!
