Name: Isaiah Brown

Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

My main goal was finishing the season healthy and putting myself in a position to continue my career after I was done, also while helping change the culture at Adams State for the younger guys coming in, which I feel was completed

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

I’m a guy who’s always ready, a hard worker, a true student of the game, a real competitor.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I study my opponents weakness and I study their strengths. From DLine, I like to see how they come off the ball, what moves are each d linemen’s favorites. For Linebackers, I like to see how they move, see if they are stiff or not, do they tip off their blitzes or if they’re dropping, I try and find every single tendency that I could read. For DBs, I like to see if they like contact or how they get off WR blocks. I like to break down every person on their defense. As far as myself, I study myself even harder, I’m my biggest critic. I study everything I do and I go to improve the next day. I find every fault and try and perfect it. I truly enjoy watching film, it’s easy to improve when you’re not in denial about things that need fixed.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My vision, my want to block, my leg strength, one guy isn’t bringing me down, my drive, my will and want too.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will be doing combine training, working on a lot of speed training, as well as taking my body to another level physically in the weight room. As to where I will be training, I’m in process of getting that worked out.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring hard work and determination to any team they will be getting a true student of the game, always willing to learn, always ready to compete, a true warrior ready to go to war with whoever my brothers are on that team.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I’m a guy who will compete with whoever you line up in front of me. I am a guy who hates to lose more than I love to win. You want me to play special teams, show me my job, want your QB protected, put me next to him, want a downhill one cut RB who is powerful but elusive at the same time, I’m your guy.
