Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set for myself going into this past season were to be a better leader towards the team, along with to consistently work the hardest I could every snap. I didn’t have any statistical goals because stats come naturally with hard work.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say i have a high motor that never stops in practice or games. They would also say that I am a good leader. I always work to get better and push my teammates.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying film of other teams, I look at the tendencies of the lineman that I go against as well as the formations to identify what type of play it is. When studying film on myself, i try to look at and correct the small details to what I am doing. The small details to technique matter a lot.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from the others in my position is that I bring strength and speed. I have a background at linebacker also so I can be helpful in the pass game as well. I work hard no matter what along with being very coachable and being a good teammate that will push everybody around me to become better.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan for this off-season training is to bulk up along with working on my explosiveness, strength, and technique. Also watching teach tape.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I would say that I stand out because of my high d-line/LB IQ making me be able to play faster overall and react quicker to certain queues. I have been playing this game since I was about 4 so its not just a game to me. It means more than that. I also stand out because I am one of those guys that puts his nose down and doesn’t look up until he is finished. I don’t need all the glory and fame I just want to get better every day. I can also add value on special teams as I played them in high school and college.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the pro leagues is that if you take a chance on me, I’ll make that the best decision you made. I will work and work and work. I’m coachable, a team player, enthusiastic, and love the game.
