Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

One goal I accomplished during my final collegiate season was being top 5 in the CCIW in sacks, tackles for a loss, and forced fumbles. Another goal I was able to accomplish was to have more sacks than acquired in my previous years. I was able to end my senior tenure with 6.5 sacks.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coach would say I have a high motor on the field and will do anything to get pressure on the quarterback. What I lack in size, I make up for in a very fast get off and speed around the edge. Another quality of mine my coach would talk about is my positive attitude coming into work every day. I love the sport and when I strap up my helmet and cleats I am ready and excited to play.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

During film sessions, I focus on linemen tendencies and recognizing plays. During the season, I had a niche for being able to quickly identify a play before the snap of the ball. Watching film with my defensive line coach and whenever I got the chance in my free time was the only way I was able to identify plays so quickly during the game.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

There are various qualities which separate me from other players in my position. One of which is that I am very quick off the ball and around the edge. While being able to perform these actions, I am also able to work my hands and make linemen miss.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I consider myself a very active individual and work out on a daily basis. During this offseason, I continue to do daily defensive line drills, as well as lift and build up my strength and endurance.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

One primary strength I bring to any team that makes me stand out is my passion for the game. My passion for the game shows during practice, before, during, and after every game. Another strength I bring I bring to any and all teams is the ability to force pressure on the quarterback every play and always chase the ball.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch to any NFL or pro team would be that if given the opportunity to further my football career, I would take the chance and run with it. A team that would pick me up would see the work ethic, passion, and skill to continue playing the game I have played for so long. Any team looking for a speed rushing defensive end would not be disappointed with my performance and attitude, both, on and off the field.
