Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

I have accomplished many goals during my collegiate season. The ones that I am most proud of are becoming team captain and earning All-District First Team. Knowing that you were voted in by your teammates to represent and guide them is something special. Also, earning All-District First Team because it showed my ability to balance both football and academics at a high level. Football is a very demanding sport and takes up a lot of time, but I was able to stay focused and get good grades as well.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would definitely say that I am a competitor, and that I am an individual that does the right thing on and off the football field. My work ethic has always been something that has separated me from other players. During my time at Gannon, I played in every game during my career. I was also someone that never missed a meeting, lift, practice, or class.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I like to watch multiple games on the opponent that we are playing that week to see if they have any tendencies during the course of a game. I also study the receivers that I will be going up against as well as the quarterback. I want to see what the receivers are good at and what they struggle with. I like to watch other DB’s and see what was effective and what wasn’t against those receivers.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

The biggest thing that separates me from other players at my position is my versatility. I am a player that played in the best Division II Conference in the country and played both corner and strong safety. I am somebody that can cover receivers on the outside as well in the slot. I also have shown the ability to help in the run support and fill gaps when needed.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I am going to continue to prepare the same way I have been doing my entire life, which is making sure that I am getting better each day. At the next level, everyone is talented. Making sure that you are doing the little things right is what is going to separate you from other players. I am going to continue to focus on my diet and work on being technically sound in my position work.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The biggest thing that comes to mind is that I am a player that is going to do everything right on and off the field. I take pride in never missing a meeting, film study, lift, or practice my entire life. I understand how important those things are and how those can separate good teams from great ones. I am also a player that will compete every day and will refuse to get outworked. I am a team player and will do whatever it takes to help the team win.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch would be that if you are looking for a player that has the ability to play multiple positions on the backend and can contribute on special teams, then I am your guy. I am a football player and when I get to the next level, I won’t become complacent and will continue to get better.
