Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A personal goal I set in pre-season camp was to be named 1st team all conference as a defensive back by the end of the year. I accomplished my goal, and it all started with my preparation in the off season.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Starting with my coaches, if I was to speak for them I know they would say I’m a very well rounded student athlete. Me being a senior captain this year, gave me a lot of respect from my coaches and teammates. From the Teammates protective I would say that I am someone who leads by their actions not words. Discipline and hard work is something I pushed my teammates to do every single day on and off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I look for tendencies from everyone on the offensive side to predict a play before it happens. Now that football is changing, being a student of the game will prepare you for game-day. When I watch myself on film I usually tend to look at the angles I take pursuing to the football and how I can improve on that. Playing the free safety position your angles coming down hill are very important in the run fit scheme.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

When I look at other people that play Free safety I don’t necessarily see anyone who is both a ball hawk and a big hitter combined. I bring the physically in the run game that a lot of defensive coordinators look for in safeties. Also I can cover an enormous amount of ground being back at the single high safety position.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I will most likely be training at Pursuit performance in Rochester, NY while I am home. During my time left at Seton Hill University I will train with our Strength and Conditioning coach Ross Fiegener.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field I bring leadership through my style of play, which is flying to the football and the excitement of just loving the game of football. There was a game where I forced 3 turnovers Vs Mercyhurst University, and the energy of the team shifted in the right direction. Off the field I am the Vice President of Black Student Union at Seton Hill University. I want to show my teammates that it’s important to get involved on your campus to network, it would benefit your future in ways you can never imagine.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’m looking to be a leader on anyones roster through my actions and style of play. Im blessed to have made it this far, i just need one more opportunity.
