Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

My goals from this season were to be the best player I can be to help my team win and win the SWAC and the HBCU national championship. I Also wanted to lead the nation and SWAC in interceptions and become All-SWAC and All-American.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

My style of play would be: Physical: I like to put my hands on the WR to get them out of the comfort zone. Smart: Because you have to know the game of football on certain situations while you are on the field. Confident: At DB you have to feel like you are the best player on the field. Every time I step on it, I feel like I’m the best player in the nation.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will prepare and train like I always do. I’ve always have been a hard worker, I just have to take my training to another level. It’s still football and at the end of the day, I just have to focus on the little things to become a pro now.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

The things I’m looking for when I’m watching film are the little things. I watch a lot of film and that is what helped me a lot this football season. I look at how the WR lines up on the numbers or the bottom of the numbers, and I look at the WRs I’m going against. I look at things like, does he blocks well? Does he runs good routes? Also, I look at the formation the offense comes out in and that is when I know what play is coming because I already looked at their film.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I’m very coachable, I’m your eyes on the field that you need. I’m A hard worker, I’m going to give you my all on and off the field.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths would be to bring that leadership to the team and bring a lot of energy on the field. I’m going to work as hard as I do on the field and bring that same effort off the field. My abilities would be to come in as a rookie and listen, learn, and absorb all the information the vets on the team give and let my play work out for itself.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I would tell a scout or NFL team, you are getting a hard nosed player and a hard worker. I’m going to come in every day and give it my all, every day and every play! Also, you will not have to worry about me getting in any off the field issues. I’m a good character guy who is always going to be on time for everything. I’m also the best DB in the draft this year.
