What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some of my goals were to be an All-American, make all-conference, and to have 10+ sacks.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took advantage by trying to change my body and also working on my craft to become a better football player.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A versatile player that leads by example on the football field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying film, I look for tendencies and habits in the offense that might help me anticipate the play before it happens. I also look at what the offensive line is doing so I learn what type of player they are.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m versatile; I can play many spots on the defensive line and am eager to learn other positions outside of the defensive line.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Just continue to work out to get bigger and get faster. Working on my craft with a defensive line specialist.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A relentless Speed Pass rusher that has aggressive hand usage to shed blocks in the run the game. I have the ability to beat blockers around the edge, getting into them with extension and then utilizing a rip move or a counter move.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’ve been going through adversity and have been doubted all my life. I’ve had to work for everything that I accomplish in life. All I need is the opportunity to show what I can do.
