Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A few goals that I set this year were to make the All American team, win the naia championship , remain healthy throughout the whole season, and to dominate the competition. I did not make the all American team and my team did not win the naia championship but we were the conference champions. I did not dominate stat wise but the film will show that I did dominate the competition.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I come to work everyday and that I am a hard worker. They probably would say that I’m quiet and do not talk much but that I am a leader that leads by example .

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film I look for anything in my game that can be improved as far as technique, route running, hand placement, footwork ,blocking , reading coverages in the defense, etc. I’ve only been playing WR for four years so I’m always looking to improve.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is my athleticism being a 6’3 210lb receiver that can move like a little guy. My knowledge of the game being that I was a QB and I played Safety so I use all that I learned from those positions to help at WR. I can high point the ball and make the big catches down the field as well as take a 5- yard hitch or slant to the house. I also played at the University of Minnesota as a true freshman so I am use to playing against great competition at high levels and holding my own.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I will work in the weight room with Cody Hodgeson and Coach AJ to focus on getting myself stronger for the 225 burnout workout and I will be doing speed and agility for 40s, 5-10-5, and the L drill, and the vertical jump. I also have a QB that throws to me daily so I can keep myself ready for any opportunity that comes my way.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring my hard work habits to a team which is leading by example because it can be contagious and rub off on the whole team. I am a God fearing athlete and teams will not have to worry about any off the field issues with me because I am family man. I am older than the regular college player being that I am 27 I feel as if I can come in and be ready to make an impact instantly in the right situation.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL is that I have a comeback story. I have been through a lot of adversity and for me to continue to fight through and not give up after all the time that it has taken me to finish out my college Eligibility says a lot. I am a playmaker no matter who is on the field I know that I can compete on the field with the best of the best and be productive.
