Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Heading into my Senior season, my focus was on becoming an immediate impact in our offense. Not only as a dependable playmaker, but also a reliable leader. I made certain to carry a chip on my shoulder that only reflected positively towards my game. Every day I strived to symbolize confidence, inspiration, and leadership. I was determined to become a complete player in all aspects of my game from the film room, to the practice field, game field, and the community.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Physical, Fearless, Competitive.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I train speed with Donte Davis (Former Syracuse/NFL/CFL WR) and Robert Brooks of Impact Performers, also I train strength with Jake Landon, my strength coach here at MSU. Each coach has become a mentor in my life, leading me in the right direction both mentally and physically, preparing me for all and any future opportunities.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When breaking down film, I am looking for specific tendencies the DB might preform. Does he mirror, is he hands on, how’s his change of direction and for me most importantly how physical is he because I am sure to let it be known from the first snap that I am. I also watch to see how they handle themselves from quarter 1 to 4, if they slow down or get lazy. I look for holes in my opponents game to exploit.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I’d say what separates me from other WRs is my resilience. I’ve come a long way in my career and I’ve used every situation positive or negative to my advantage to become the player I am today. Also, I use my physicality to my advantage while blocking. Most WRs just flat out won’t block. I know how important perimeter blocking is. My WR coach would always tell our group “the OLine makes runs go 5-6 yards, but WRs make them go 60”.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring hard work and effort that can not be matched. I am a fire competitor pushing those around me as well as myself. I am an all around team player and know the importance of a strong locker room. I can be used anywhere on the field. I can play both outside and inside WR as well as anywhere on special teams. I carry a sense of urgency to get better every day and I’ll represent any organization who takes a chance on me with discipline and determination.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

As far as becoming a professional athlete goes, it is everything I have molded myself into becoming. I got a work ethic that will inspire others and I will bring energy and passion to any organization! All I need is an opportunity to represent who I am, where I come from, and what I can bring to the table.
