Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

At the beginning of the season, I set a goal to be to SWAC offensive player of the year. Even though I didn’t win the award, I felt like the most important part of my senior season was to make my team a contender.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I feel that my teammates and coaches would say that I’m kind of a blue collared guy. It’s really what you see is what you get from me.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying film, I feel that tendency is the key I’m looking for. Every coordinator has certain coverages and blitz that they like to call on certain downs. Once I recognize it, it makes the game easier for myself.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

At the quarterback position, I feel that my speed and athleticism separates me from the rest. Most importantly it’s my mind set the mamba mentality. Since middle school every time I stepped on the field I felt like I was the best player.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This offseason I plan to train and hopefully make the right connections to further my career.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The main characteristics on and off the field that I value is being accountable, doing what is asked of me, and most importantly making plays.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

To the NFL, CFL, & XFL the team that picks me up you will not be disappointed. You’ll get a guy who comes to work on time and is ready to be the difference maker. I’m a versatile athlete that could play quarterback, running back, or wide receiver. I also have the “It” factor of being able to take over the game when I’m needed.
