Name: Davion Washington
Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I was part of a historic senior class that made the playoffs 3 consecutive years at Wingate. I also made the All-SAC First Team Defense and D2CCA All-Super Region.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My teammates would say that I’m a high motor athlete who is determined to be great. They would also say that I am a diverse player who is coachable and learns quickly. I practice with a game mentality and push others to do the same.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I watch film I start by breaking down the teams formation and what plays they run. Then I study the WR learning their releases and their route tree.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I am separated from others based off my football IQ and my diversity on the field.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am currently training at EFT Sports Performance in Chicago to prepare for my Pro Day.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My competitive spirit and positive mindset allow me to always bring energy on and off the field while pushing others to compete and test their limits as well.
