What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

For my final collegiate season my team goals were to win conference and bring a ring to the school as well as win a national championship. I also wanted to be a leader on and off the field and build relationships with the younger guys especially because I feel like they really look up to the upperclassmens. My personal goals were to set all the school records for wide receivers and kick returners and then to get all confidence, all region, and all American honors. I didn’t accomplish all of my team goals because we came up short of a ring but i did accomplish my goal of leaving my mark on the younger guys. For my personal goals in accomplished getting some school records and getting all conference and all region honors but came up short of all American. I knew most of these goals weren’t going to be easy to accomplish but I truly believe that you should set your goals high to push yourself and reach limits that you may not have thought you could reach. I will learn from the adversity of not accomplishing all my goals to motivate me to work harder in the future.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took advantage of it by getting closer to my teammates and coaches and most importantly learning the playbook so that when the season did come I was able to play at a high and fast level. I also used that time to study NFL tape of some of my favorite receivers at the time and receivers in the past.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a very passionate person and I like to have fun and motivate and bring energy on the field and in the locker room by my actions.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The first thing I do is study the DB because I like to see how they line up and the different ways they like to play and different formations. I look to see if the DB played with a high motor or aggression. I look for the strengths in that DB and I like to see the weaknesses they have so that I can attack them in those areas. I love to study practice film to see throughout the week what things I can improve on and what things work the most on our scout defense.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My story separates me as well as what I had to do to get to where I am. I had to face a lot of adversity as far as injuries, being on winning teams, being on losing teams, being the main player on teams and on others just being a role player. Through all the adversity it made me stronger and I know that each year I become a better football player because I am willing to learn and continue to perfect my craft and I am willing to do whatever to succeed.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to train at the top trainers and with athletes in Maryland and worldwide. As well as get ready for pro days and most importantly make sure that I am in the best shape for whenever I do get a call. The off season is very important to me especially now because I am training for the highest level and I know that I have to do everything that I can possibly do to make sure that I am prepared and beyond ready for my opponent.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Off the field I can bring a team leadership by leading by example and being vocal as well as bring a team a great person for the community. I love to work with kids because I truly believe that they are our future and some kids really need a mentor/big brother to push them and lead them in the right direction. On the field I can bring a team juice/swag because that’s how I like to play and I am very versatile. I can play wide receiver as well as special teams and I’m willing to do whatever so that we can be successful as a team.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I want NFL teams and other pro leagues to know that they are going to get a very passionate/versatile player and I will be in the best shape possible so whenever that time may come, they are going to get a player that will continue to put in the work that is required. I am also ready to play any role and show the world that I belong at the highest level.
