Name: Daniel Adeboboye

Position: RB

Height: 5’11”
Weight: 220

What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My first goal going into my final season was to help my team win games as many games as possible. I was fortunate enough to start in 10 games this year and in those games my team was able to have one of its best records in school D1 history. I even developed more of a role in my teams passing game, catching more balls and touchdowns this season than in my first 3 years combined also including a game winning catch. My second goal was to be a physical and vocal leader for my team and I was fortunate enough to be named one of two team captains.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I only played 4 years of college and decided to forgo my extra year of eligibility.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

The first thing they would say is that I am a leader. I was able to be the coach on the field with my brothers, someone who could motivate teammates vocally and with my work ethic. They would definitely comment on my work ethic saying that I am one of the hardest workers that they know. Additionally, they would say that I am selfless and put the team ahead of myself. If we throw the ball the whole game or run the ball the whole game I still keep my same positive energy.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

As a running back my success relies on the success of my offensive line and other blockers. I can have all the talent in the world but if I do not know who my line is blocking and what each of them are doing then I’m limiting myself. I like to focus on the people around me and what they are doing when I have the ball in my hands or if I’m pass blocking. Studying my opponents is another great way for me to elevate my game because I can learn teams tendencies such as individuals tackling tendencies.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The first thing that separates me is my ability to put my teams needs above myself. I will do whatever it takes to bring my team success. I am sure that every other running back prospect works hard to better themselves but I believe that my work ethic is unmatched. Another thing that separates me from other running backs is my strength. I believe that I am just as strong if not stronger than the other prospects this year. Additionally, I am athletic for my size and I can move as the best of them. Finally my ability to stay calm under pressure is another positive trait of mine.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am currently training at school with my strength coaches. I believe that they are the best in the country at what they do, and they are going to help me to be the best version of myself. They know me better than anyone and I wouldn’t put my trust in anyone else. I am working multiple hours a day to improve myself. I usually start of with combine prep then my lifting and later in the day I will to positional work. I am also working with my trainers every day to make sure that my body is healthy.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a good leader and I believe that that will also be the case on any team that gives me an opportunity. I am a person who wants that best for everyone and that is present on the field and off of the field. I love mentoring the younger generation on my team and giving them wisdom that was passed down to me. Additionally, I love helping out in the community which was something that was parents taught me in my younger years. On the field I am versatile, I can run the ball and catch the ball at a high level. I believe that I could be a great face of an organization that will represent in the most professional way.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

If you want a young player who will dedicate his life to helping team succeed then I am the man for you. I am a loyal person on and off the field and I will do absolutely anything for the people that put their trust in me. I am not just going to represent the team well on the field but I will represent it well in the community. I will be ready whenever my number is called and you will never regret having me apart of the organization.
