What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One of my goals going into the season was to break the all time career receiving record at Culver-Stockton College. I accomplished this goal by scoring 11 touchdowns in the season bringing my career touchdown receptions to 29 and passing up former receiver Kevin Wiley. Another goal was to help my team win the Heart of America Conference but we fell short by 3 points to Grand View University. I was proud that we finished 8-3 which was the best in Culver-Stockton’s history.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I would say my teammates and coaches describe me as a hard worker who leads by example on and off the field. I have worked for everything in life. I would say they describe me as an individual who is humble and likes his game to do the talking. I am a smart player who likes to be put in the spotlight. They would also say that I am a very dependable player that utilizes his strength, speed, explosiveness, and football IQ to manipulate defenses.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on defensive tendencies on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down. I break down what coverages the defense adjusts to based on the offensive formation we are in. I also study the specific movement of the DBs in game and pick out their weakness to expose when I play them. I watch for soft spots in the defense and I make sure to communicate with the OC on what I see. I also watch film on myself and improve in areas where I could have utilized a different technique or done something better.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is that a team who takes a chance will receive someone who is dependable and has great ball skills, speed, and understands the game of football. I have started 4 years at the college level and played in a total of 35 games. A lot of being great at football is experience and I have just that. With the right tools around me there’s no doubt I can help take a team to a championship. I have a winning mentality and play with all my heart.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Anybody that knows me knows that I work my ass off. Getting stronger, faster, and better at the sport of football everyday is my plan. I would like to get associated with a receiver specific trainer that can assist me in improving my game. My whole life I have never had a trainer and I have done everything on my own so who knows how good I could be with some receiver specific training.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

If I were to get signed to a team I would bring a lot to the table. I am a fast receiver with a great build. I also am quick with my releases and have great experience being played in 35 collegiate football games. I understand the receiver position to a great extent and I’m great with people. Not being cocky but, my looks could also catch the attention of big endorsers and make it easier for the marketing team to sell tickets. My goal is to leave my mark, play my heart out, and do everything for an organization that takes a chance on me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Just take a chance on me, I promise you WILL NOT regret it.
