Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set this past season was to be a threat down field in coverage, to be a leader among the team, and to get 1st Team All-Conference. I ended with 2 tackles on the season. I felt like within the specialist group I was someone the younger guys could look up to. I also finished the season 1st Team All-Conference.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I feel like my coaches and teammates would describe me as a hard worker and a leader. I always pushed for the guys, and myself in the specialist group to always be working on something at practice and not just standing around. Im also a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, so I have no problem connecting with athletes with different backgrounds.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

First and foremost I analyze my practice and game snaps and see if there are any small things I can tweak to be more efficient. Then I will study the opponents punt return to see how they block the snapper, and if there are any things that I can use to my advantage to help my team in coverage down the field.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I have always prided myself on being a football player, and not just a “specialist.” Im passionate about working hard, and bettering myself day in and day out. When ever my teammates see how hard I work at my craft, and how hard I go in the weightroom it helps me gain respect from my teammates. Im also always prepared to help my team in any way that I can. I stepped up in the middle of this past season, and helped my team by playing Tight End in a few games.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to train for power and speed to help separate myself from others at this position. Also to continue bettering my snap and my blocking by continuing to work with Special Teams U.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring a certain mindset to a team that is usually not found in the specialist group. I throw a good ball, and my main goal is to always be consistent with my snaps and blocks.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Whichever league it is that is willing to give me a chance, just know I will never take anything for granted. I will be the hardest working individual in the building day in and day out.
