Name: Bryce Nunnelly
School: Western Michigan (2021) University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2017-2020)
Position: WR/RS

Height: 6’0”
Weight: 195

What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I set a goal to move up a level to the FBS division in football for my final year of college. I was able to accomplish that goal. As for my individual goals, I was not able to accomplish some of those that I had set out for myself in terms of statistics. Unfortunately I was not given as many opportunities as I had hoped for so my production at Chattanooga was not able to carry over for my final year.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I focused on the details of playing the reviver position. This consisted of spending more time working on my releases and break points. I also spent more time working on catches that are difficult to make. This last year helped me develop my skills even more.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe that they would say I am a reliable and dependable player. I am where I need to be and I do what I am supposed to do. I take pride in studying the game plan every week and preparing myself so that I can limit my mistakes to as few as possible.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

One of the first things I look at is my release and the cornerback’s leverage. I like to have a plan ready for each look that they can give me before the ball is even snapped. I also pay attention to the safeties and where they are aligned on the field. This can help me in determining the best way to run a route depending on the play call. Another thing I focus on is my effort in the running game. I take pride in blocking for my teammates and showing that extra effort on film. This was something that I really focused on as I got older and had more experience.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I am a well-rounded receiver. I believe that I am versatile and can be used in different ways. I have shown that on tape throughout my college career. I will do the right thing when I need to and be where my teammates need me to be.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I just finished training at Landow Performance for my Pro Day that I had in March. I am going to be back at Western Michigan working out and staying in shape as much as I can. I am going to focus on the details of my route running and the specifics that come with playing receiver at the next level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

One of my biggest strengths is that I am coachable. If I make a mistake and a coach corrects me on it, then I will do my best to never make that mistake again. I do what I am coached to do. Off the field, I will handle my business as a professional. I enjoy helping others and giving back whenever I am able to.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You are getting a well-rounded athlete who has shown to be a productive receiver while in college. I have experience with a variety of special teams positions and am an impactful blocker in the run game. I will work as hard as I can to help make the team better and will be in whatever role is needed to help the team have success.
