Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

I set many goals for my final season, but my most important goal was to be a major part of changing my schools history from a loosing program to a winning football program. And that we did with a 7-3 record. Another goal was to lead by example, showing the younger guys what it takes in order to have a solid program.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

Smart, aggressive, plays downhill and reads his keys without hesitation, he reacts. Team player and very dedicated. Good on and off the field and is always noticed by his hard work.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film against an opponent, I focus on the splits of the o-line. I like to look for the lineman who gives away the run or pass, basically seeing if he is light on his hands when pass or heavy when run. I study the running back alignment alongside the quarterback. Also for ex, when he’s tight to the quarterback does is it run, or when he’s loose is it a pass etc.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Things that separate me from other players at my position are my ability to communicate during the game letting my teammates know what I see. My speed and quickness to the ball, along with the strength and power I have on contact. Able to be there as soon as it’s handed off or thrown. I’m able to digest a play before the ball even snaps.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

My training is being done at two locations. Strength and condition is being done at Pace university by Troy Thompson and my change of directions and speed training is being done in Clearwater, Florida by Tisdale Bryant at ultimate stomping ground.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring leadership along with hard worth ethic and discipline, also, very outgoing, I have always been a humble and caring person who likes to give back to the community in any way possible.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I’m willing to come and give it my all no matter what position I will be placed at, I will strive for greatness. This game is something I love with a passion and take it very seriously. I will always be on time and ready to go. I’m a stand up guy on and off the field.
