Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One specific goal I set for the season was to get 1% better everyday, both off and on the field. I wanted to be more of a leader for the team, being a 5th year senior. As well as helping my team out in any way I can on and off the field, whether its field position, taking scout team reps at practice, to helping out and guiding some of the younger guys. I wanted to finish out my career strong and leave Mercyhurst on a good note.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I’m a competitor. I love to compete, I believe competition makes people perform to the best of their abilities. They would also say that, I’m a guy that brings a lot of energy to the field, regardless if it is practices or games. They would also say I’m a guy who works hard and does the extra stuff, overall a really coachable player.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on my form. I want to take the same approach to every punt/kickoff I kick. Also where I strike the ball every time I kick or punt. Form is important for a specialist, we want every rep to look basically identical.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My work ethic and my competitive nature. I do the extra things to make sure I’m prepared for any obstacles that I may face along the way. Also, my desire to continue to get better, day in and day out, not being complacent with myself always looking to improve.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to meet with my personal kicking coaches and work on my craft. While doing this I also plan on lifting 5 days a week. Getting stronger day in and day out, along with staying flexible, stretching everyday, and doing yoga.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I can be very active in the community. In college I set up a mini camp for the kids in the boys and girls club in Erie. I try to have an impact on the people around me on and off the field. I have received many accolades from parents for being a mentor to new incoming players. It makes a difference when you take time and mentor the young teammates, to help them improve. I represent the team 24-7, so I make sure to conduct myself in a manner I would want my team and my organization to be seen as.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’m one of the hardest working kids in my position group. I’m a guy that can have an impact on your team. When something isn’t going my way I make sure to work harder, rather than quit. I believe I have what it takes to strive at the next level, I just need an opportunity to showcase my talents. I promise you will get everything I got.
